March has been a fantastic and busy month here at Greystoke Castle, with a wonderful variety of events bringing visitors together to enjoy the castle and its unique atmosphere.
We were delighted to welcome Rick Sheehan, whose visit was a real highlight of the month and thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
Mother’s Day was a special occasion here at the castle, with our Sunday Lunch fully booked. It was lovely to see families coming together in such beautiful surroundings to celebrate, making the day truly memorable for so many mums.
Later in the month, the castle took on a more mysterious feel as Jack O’ Lantern (Ray Turner) joined us for an evening of atmospheric ghost stories. The night continued with a paranormal investigation led by the Greystoke team, giving guests the rare opportunity to explore the castle after dark and experience its history in a completely different way.
We rounded off the month with a brilliant Artisan Market weekend, welcoming around 23 talented stall holders offering a wide range of handmade crafts, gifts, and local products. Despite some challenging weather—especially on the Sunday (and with the clocks springing forward… did anyone forget?)—the event was a great success. We moved everyone indoors and, as always, the show went on! A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported both the event and our fantastic traders.
Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout March and helped make it such a memorable month at Greystoke Castle. We’re now looking ahead to what we hope will be a wonderful April, full of more events, history, and adventure.
