June has been a truly special month here at Greystoke Castle. With the grounds in full bloom and the longer summer days setting the tone, the castle has come alive with a wide range of events, each bringing its own unique atmosphere.
Throughout the month, we’ve welcomed guests from all over to experience everything Greystoke has to offer—from relaxed daytime gatherings to lively evening entertainment. There’s been a real sense of energy running through the castle, with each event adding to what has been an unforgettable few weeks.
One of the standout moments was welcoming Ricky Tomlinson. It was an incredible evening filled with humour, stories, and a fantastic connection with the audience. The atmosphere on the night was something truly special and a great reminder of how powerful live events can be in a setting like this.
We also hosted our Summer Family Music Festival, which brought a completely different but equally memorable feel to the grounds. Families came together to enjoy live music, good food, and a relaxed festival atmosphere. It was a day full of laughter, energy, and moments that perfectly captured the spirit of summer at the castle.
And to round off the month, we welcomed Fleetwood Nick’d for a brilliant night of live music. Bringing the iconic sound of Fleetwood Mac to life, the band delivered an electric performance that had the crowd fully engaged from start to finish. With the castle as a backdrop, it created an atmosphere that was both nostalgic and uplifting—an unforgettable way to close out June.
