April brought a wonderful mix of family fun, live entertainment, and unforgettable experiences here at Greystoke Castle.
We began the month with our much-loved Easter Bunny Trail, welcoming families from near and far. The castle grounds were filled with excitement as children followed the trail, searching for clues and enjoying the fresh spring air. It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces exploring the estate.
Our Alice in Wonderland production in the Great Hall was another highlight. Although the weather didn’t quite play its part on the day, it certainly didn’t dampen spirits. Guests gathered inside and thoroughly enjoyed the performance, with the magic of the story brought to life in such a unique setting. The atmosphere in the Great Hall made it feel all the more special.
We were then treated to something a little different with Everybodys Friends – Nobodys Friends, who delivered a brilliant a cappella performance of traditional sea shanties. The Great Hall echoed with laughter and song as guests joined in, singing along to some wonderfully funny ditties. It was one of those moments where the whole room came together, creating a truly memorable experience.
To round off the month, we hosted a sold-out paranormal investigation. As always, the castle didn’t disappoint. With an atmosphere that can only be described as electric, guests experienced the unique energy of the building after dark—an unforgettable way to end April.
Thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the month. We’re already looking forward to what May has in store!
