Our History
Greystoke, with its small village green and ancient market cross dating back to the early 1600s, is now a delightful mix of old stone cottages and more modern houses, with a small shop-cum-post office, an outdoor swimming pool, St. Andrew’s Parish Church and the Boot & Shoe pub, which for centuries been the hub of the community.
Also calling Greystoke home is racehorse trainer Nicky Richards’ racing stables, son of Gordon Richards, trainer of two Grand National winners in Lucius in 1978 and Hello Dandy 1984.
